Driving licence laws changed on 1st January 1997. Anyone who passed their first UK car driving test after then has to pass a seperate Minibus test (D1 category) to legally drive a minibus with between 9 and 16 passenger seats.
Exemptions to these regulations exist, check www.direct.gov.uk/driverlicencing for more information regarding exemptions.
Failure to comply to this could leave you liable of a fine, penalty points on your licence and invalid insurance.
We have fully qualified Driving Standards Agency (DSA) instructors with a wealth of experience in car, lgv & pcv vehicles to help guide you through your training and the test.
