Courses are available for all levels of experience.

Refresher Courses: (1 day) for operators who are required to renew a license of 3 years or more.

Novice Courses: (5 days) for operators who have no previous experience of Fork Lift Trucks.

we are also able to offer 10 day courses for the Novice operator. Please contact us for more details.

Experienced Courses: (3 days) for operators who have previous experience and are required to be trained & tested.

Fork Lift Operator Training Includes:

• Introduction to the lift truck to be used for training, controls and instruments
• Operator's Safety Code with appropriate Safety film
• Lift Truck Stability
• Correct procedures for mounting/dismounting
• Start, moving, stopping and steering the lift truck
• Operation of the hydraulic controls
• Weight assessment and lift truck stability
• Handling unladen pallets and laden loads
• Stacking/de-stacking procedures
• Driving on/off ramps and inclines
• Road vehicle loading/unloading procedures
• Lift truck pre-use checks
• Refuelling procedures
